Website for the Bundeswehr Cyber Innovation Hub

My work: UX/UI, art direction, image search/retouch

The old website featured b/w flickr images from the Bundeswehr. Not very innovative. So we developed a different visual language to do justice to the theme of innovation. It was important to depict all parts of the Bundeswehr, such as the ground forces, the air force and the navy.

I worked with double-exposure images. Each collage has an area of the Bundeswehr as its basic theme. In addition, the topic of innovation will be further explored through the presentation of programming languages, computer parts, keyboards or cockpits. Lighting effects reinforce the impression of modernity and invention.

A big thank you goes to unsplash, with whose help I was able to realize all of this.

This is the start page. The stage shows a main image. Below it, the user can use the anchor navigation to be redirected to the other sections of the start page.

The font - Bebas Neue - was set by the style guide. But I asked for the pro version to ensure the upper and lower case.

This is a main page to tease the sub-navigation points.

The design of the page deliberately plays with the absence of straight lines in the large images. But to avoid clutter, we decided to keep small images straight.

This is an article page. It contains many elements so that the Cyber Innovation Hub can show as much different content as possible.

the contents are: Headlines, intro text, text, facts & figures, lists, videos, links, images, galleries, hidden content and downloads.

An early version of the website that was rejected by the client.

The design of the page was very lively including the headlines which were set in italic and rotated. But in the end it seemed too wild for the Bundeswehr.
