I was responsible for building a design system from scratch in figma of an already existing website. Freelance job for tagesspiegel
I came to the project after the website had been online for a while and was constantly being changed on demand. In other words, there was no proper design system.
My task was to create atoms such as colors, typography, spacing, responsible behavior and icons in a Figma design system.
I then rebuilt the most important components (stages, various homepage teasers, navigation, articles, social media bar) so that future changes could be made directly in Figma.
